Missions

Gretna Baptist enjoys a long history of mission and support of missions locally, nationally and internationally.

In Florida the church participates in the ministry of the Florida Baptist Children’s Home, Maguire State Mission offering and through support of the Gadsden Baptist Association along with the Florida Baptist Convention.

The church is active in the ministry of Camp Victory and missionary Amy Warr with the camp in Samson Alabama.

Pastor David and Julie, his wife, traveled to Mfangano Island, Kenya in the month of September 2015 with Interlocking Ministries of Raleigh, North Carolina to help with a marriage conference, open air preaching and ministry in the local schools.

In the Spring of 2015 Pastor David traveled to La Esperanza, Honduras with Steadfast Ministries to work on a construction project in the hill country of Honduras.

During 2015 the church and the churches of the Gadsden Baptist Association raised funds to construct a home in the Dominican Republic with Orphan’s Heart, the international mission outreach of the Florida Baptist Children’s Home.
